A troughing idler is mprised of a central idler roll, which has a fixed width, and two or more wing idlers located on each side of the central idler roll. The wing idlers can be adjusted up or down to change the toughing angle, which affects the depth of the trough created by the nveyor belt as it moves.
First 3-Roll Idler should be placed 1.5 x belt width from centerline of pulley. First 2-Roll Idler should be placed 1 x belt width from centerline of pulley. 15 degree idlers should be used first and last as transition for nveyors using 25 and 30 degree 2-Roll Idlers.
